[ ECHA ]THE LASTEST SVHC PUBLIC COMMENT SUBSTANCES LIST

On 1 September 2020, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) announced the launch of a public review of two substances of potential high concern (SVHCs). The two substances under review are tetraethylene glycol dimethyl ether and dioctyltin, tin, dioctyl -, bis (coco-octyl -) derivatives, and any other tin, dioctyl -, bis (fatty oxy -) derivatives, of which C12 is the main carbon atom number for the fatty oxy - part. The public consultation will end on 16 October 2020, during which all stakeholders may submit their comments to the ECHA. The substances that pass the evaluation will be included in the candidate list of SVHC as the 24th batch of substances.In column 4 of the entry for perfluorooctane sulfonic acid and its derivatives (PFOS) in Part A of Annex I to regulation (EU) 2020/1021 (special exemption or other specification for intermediate purposes), point 4 is amended as follows:
