In cosmetics, nail polish has the highest content of phthalates, and many cosmetics also contain aromatic ingredients. This substance in cosmetics can enter a woman’s body through her respiratory system and skin, and if used too much, it can increase a woman’s risk of breast cancer and harm the reproductive system of any male child she will have in the future.

3. Test requirements
China: China’s toy mandatory standard GB 6675.1-2014 Article 5.3.7 requirements for plasticizers refer to the relevant requirements of the European Union, the total content of DEHP, DBP, BBP in the plasticizing materials in the toys and parts that can be touched shall not exceed 0.1%, which can be placed in the entry of products, in addition to the above requirements, The total content of DINP, DIDP and DNOP shall not exceed 0.1%.
Eu: (EC) No 1907/2006 (i.e. REACH Regulation) Articles 51 and 52 shall not be placed on the market after 7 July 2020 for phthalates listed in this article, used alone or in any combination, in a concentration equal to or greater than 0.1%(percentage by weight) of the plasticized material. That is, DEHP+DBP+BBP+DIBP≤0.1%, DINP+DIDP+DNOP≤0.1%.
United States: The final Rule (16 CFR 1307) from the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) restricting certain phthalates in toys and child care products was published in the Federal Register on October 27, 2017. The final rule will take effect on April 25, 2018. According to 16 CFR 1307, the components of toys and child care articles shall not exceed 0.1% of the following phthalates: DEHP, DBP, BBP, DINP, DIBP, DPENP, DHEXP, DCHP.
California: Six phthalates are known to cause cancer, birth defects and other reproductive harm, or all at once. The six phthalates are: BBP, DBP, DEHP, DIDP, DINP, DnHP, all ≤ 1000 ppm, earwax removal kit BBP, DBP, DEHP, DIDP, DINP and DnHP and DNOP all ≤ 1000 ppm.
